The Journey of a Lifetime
The hero in the ‘The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho says that he is an adventurer, looking for treasure. Which sparked this joy in me to know there is a place, right here, where I too can can set sail, or point the wheel, or walk the journey and follow the maps and wisps of my own direction. Where the treasure is turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.
A question I’ve been asking myself more and more: What will happen next?
We don’t know the answer. But like adventurers, we can be bold and proclaim our destination, hold compass to follow this North Star. We can be open to other people along the way, new ideas, show grace if we end up where we never thought we’d end up. Proclaiming our goals out loud for everyone to hear and saying ‘yes’ to the universe can have a wonderful effect of reciprocity - where forces collaborate to meet us half-way. #truth
There has been talk of a new hope around here. Of this sort of adventure being possible again. Of breaking out into a new world of discovery and progress. I see it around me more and more everyday. What do you see? How will we step into this light, our heads held high?
It can start by smiling. Or drawing a cartoon. Or reaching for that ukulele you haven’t picked up in a while (that’s what I’m going to do today).
Spin the flywheel. Bit by bit.
